St Bene’t’s Church Wedding Photography | Elisabeth & Alistair
Alistair and Elisabeth’s wedding service was held in St Bene’t’s Church in the centre of Cambridge. The church of Anglo Saxon origin and is known to be the oldest building in Cambridge. The church provided an exquisite backdrop for the service, followed by drinks and canopes in the beautiful Master’s Lodge garden at Corpus Christie College. After a lovely sunny afternoon at Corpus Christie, the wedding party headed on to Whittlesford Memorial Hall for the wedding breakfast. Before the wedding breakfast commenced, we have a lovely opportunity to take some photos of the wedding party in the shade of the adjacent park. This included some energetic confetti throwing and some lovely group shots of St Marks, Magdalene choir and Natscis. Before dinner, there was the added bonus of an impromptu visit from the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service. After making the catering van safe, the fire service very kindly gave Elisabeth and Alistair the opportunity to try out the fire engine. After the excitement had come to an end, the wedding party returned to a lovely dinner, speeches and ceili in the village hall.
An brilliant night had by all!
