Oxford Couple Photoshoot | Kerry & Jasper

I spent a lovely afternoon with Jasper & Kerry on their pre-wedding couple photoshoot in Oxford. Jasper and Kerry booked a couple photoshoot as part of their wedding photography package. Couple photoshoots are fun and relaxed way to get to know each other and I really enjoyed our time together.  It was a great opportunity for us to  relaxed in front of the camera and to start planning the wedding day.

Our day started at Christ Church Meadow, where we took some lovely photos in the afternoon light. Afterwards, we continued onto the Radcliffe Camera, the Bridge of Sighs and finally the Bodleian Library and the Sheldonian Theatre. Luckily, we were able to squeeze in some photos before the bus loads of tourists arrived!  The Bridge of Sighs was my favourite part of our walk because of its beauty and history.  It is known as the Bridge of Sighs because it looks like the one in Venice.  The bridge links together the Old and New Quadrangles of Hertford College and was designed by Sir Thomas Jackson.  It was completed in 1914, despite its construction being opposed by New College.   

I am really looking forward to Kerry and Jaspers wedding at the Oxford Spires in 2020.  It is one of the few places I have not visited in Oxford yet.  I can’t wait to meet Kerry and Jasper again and am looking forward to taking some great photos on the river in the summer light.
